Faith in Words is a brand operated by Typortrait. In this policy, “Faith in Words” and “we” refer to that service; the entity legally responsible for it is Typortrait. For any request under this policy, contact support@faithinwords.com.
This Privacy Policy explains what Faith in Words (“we”) collects, why, and your rights. Every portrait we sell is pre-made — we do not ask for or process any photo, and there is no facial-geometry or biometric processing. We collect only what we need to deliver your order.
Faith in Words is the organization responsible for, and the data controller of, the information described here. Contact us at support@faithinwords.com with any privacy question, to exercise your rights, or to raise a concern.
We do not collect photos, images, or biometric data of any kind.
Solely to process and deliver your order, provide support, take payment, and operate, secure and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection — we never see or store them.
For physical orders we share only what is needed — your shipping details and the artwork — with our print-on-demand partner (Printful) so they can produce and ship your item.
We keep order, payment and transaction records only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
We share personal data only with the providers needed to run the store:
We do not sell or “share” your personal information (as defined under U.S. state privacy laws), and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.
We use only the essential cookies needed for checkout and to keep the site functioning. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
We operate from the United States, so if you are outside the U.S. your information is transferred to and processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR, California’s CCPA/CPRA, and Canada’s PIPEDA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information associated with your order, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise them, email support@faithinwords.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
